WIP German Puma Armored Car

In the foreground is an almost finished Puma, the background is a darker one waiting to be brought up to par  with the front one. I need to paint up a 3rd one soon, hopefully they will all be done by today.

Still a WIP, so bare with me.

An update, I just finished the two Pumas and Matt Varnished them with the following images.  I plan on just getting the force all painted up first off, then all that will be left to do is the decals and weathering when I figure those out.

The funny thing is, the camo on kampfgruppe peiper is going to be all over the place due to the different units that were drawn together in his forces. It may seems strange to whom I play unless they understand the reasoning behind it all.

King Tiger!!!! meow, meow

I have a second King Tiger painted up, I so screwed up the varnish, it was suppose to be matte not glossy. Apparently I didn't shake the bottle well enough and will have to redo the varnish. I still have some minor work to be done but they are usable in this stage. Decal work to be done once I figure out the numbering I want on them.

Some minor updates

Got a SAGA game today, so I should be heading to bed soon, I also got my 2nd King Tiger done for Flames of war. Two more to get painted up and then work on either the four Ostwind or the six Panzer IV Js. I am not really feeling the Pather Tanks at the moment, Peiper's one is screwed up and with the side fenders being to short. I think I will have to work on that to make them look correct, but will have to use pasticard or something.

Right now the King Tigers look dark after I sealed them, but once I get them all dusted up they will be lighter in color. Also forgot to add, I will put on the decals once I determine what numbers I want on them and then do the dusting (dry brush light colored dirt, or use weathering pigments).

Here Kitty Kitty

Here is my first painted King Tiger for Flames of War. I normally am known for fielding infantry and Medium Tank, assault guns, and light tank combinations. I felt that I needed to go big for a change and crush all before me. I plan on using this with a cannon platoon of 2 Half-Tracks for our 500 pt. Tank Ace game today at the local hobby shop, I am still up in the air if I will do it though. The other train of thought I had was 8 panzer IV Js.  =)

I plan on building a force from Devils Charge, and figured hey why not King Tigers. So from a hoard playing style I have taken the dive into these big bad kitty's.

I am happy with the outcome of the painting and look of the miniature. though planing out the assemble was a bit of time, the project took me about 1 week to finish due to trying to make time to work on it. I have to find decals so I can number all my tanks properly.

Flames of War - MG Bunkers

I felt like painting up some MG Bunkers for our local shop, Arm Chair Adventurer. I good store where we have some tables to play on. I felt like painting up the two MG Bunkers. So here they are, I hope you all enjoy it. I wanted to give it a slightly worn look and with some moss growing on it from it just sitting out in the weather. If they were slightly textured I would have weathered them a bit more.

Debating on what and how to paint the windows for these plane. I have been using these as is,but finally feel like painting up the windows and nose of the plane. If anyone has any idea hit me up.
