BattleFleet Gothic pictures of todays game!

Good old school with a game of BattleFleet Gothic. Oh those that dare to turn from the Empire! I brought my colorful fleet to crush the rebel forces who dare turn from the Emperor of man.

My friend is running a small campaign for Flames of War

My friend Brian H. is running a small campaign here for Flames of War, he did a bunch of research and I need to start working on my list for the games. You can find the Campaign at the following link.

I will be playing as General Erdman. I will have to borrow a bunch of miniatures due to not having any German Early War stuff available.

Revell Germany (Micro Wings) 1:144 scale WW2 german planes

I plan on using these for "Flames of War". Lovely little plastic kits, I hope they come out with more planes. These are from the Revell German side of Revell, clean and nicely made kits. There are no pilot or seat area, so I will either just glue a little guy in there and call it a day or paint the canopy.  The price was somewhere around $5.00 so not a high price to pay for these planes. They come with decals too!!

I got 2 Stuka, 1 Messerschmitt Me262A, and 1 Messerschmitt Bf109E. I plan on painting one stuka in desert colors and one for Europe themed.

The parts

Terrain making goals

Waiting on my Crusader Army I starting to build up some Flames of War desert, I have decided to create and build more terrain for this.

The following link is a good idea and I will use this guys one to get some trees going. I will probable have to make more bases for the desert and I better ask my friend for more MDF cut boards so I can work on this.

Building Palm Trees

I also want to build some buildings for the desert, and will probable just copy the Flames of War ones for style and type of buildings.

I can't wait for the Crusader stuff to get in, still waiting on my friend to put the order in for me and pay him!

Muskets and Tomahawks AAR on my friends blog.... =p

I will just link my friends blog, where he took way more pictures then I for our game. I was very tired after getting off shift in the morning, I will need to do some catch up on sleep.

Here are three more pictures of our game that I took.

Flames of War >> Arabs Israelis War!!!

While browsing the Flames of War sight, I ran across a pdf of the New Zealand con, and in the pdf it talked about having a table for new and future releases.... There it was Arabs Israelis War! Should prove fun fun. I wish I could go and see it in person, though I hope someone takes pictures and post them online.

Flames of War: Pat H. vs George K.

Watched a game of early war between Pat H. and George K. It was a good back and forth game. The mission was Pincer where George was defending.  I took three pictures of the game.

tiny tiny armored tracked tanks.  =P

These these are pretty cool looking.
